University of Toronto Scarborough
The north east corner of Military Trail and Pan Am Drive
1050 Military Trail, Scarborough, ON M1C 1G9
(This address will route you to Parking Lot H behind the building)
Parents and visitors have a choice of two parking lots when attending the Toronto Science Fair in the Sam Ibrahim Building (SIB).
Parking Lot H is immediately to the east of SIB. It is a Pay-And-Display Parking Lot with a flat rate charge of $10.30 on weekends. The fee is good for the whole weekend. The Parking Authority at UTSC has waived the fee in Parking Lot H from 6:00 – 9:00 PM on Friday, March 27th for Grade 7-12 Set Up and from 6:00 – 9:00 PM on Saturday, March 28th to facilitate picking students up at the end of the fair. At all other times, parking fees are in effect.
Parking Lot G is directly across Pan Am Drive and it is a Pay-On-Exit lot with a flat rate charge on weekends of $7.20. You take a ticket and pay on exit with a credit or debit card. There are no in-out privileges.
If you are bringing children from Grade 7-12 on Saturday morning for set up or just drop off, use Parking Lot H to drop them off but if you want to park, you will need to pay in either Parking Lot H or G.
Parents who are bringing Grade 5 and 6 students on Saturday, March 28th between 12:00 and 1:00 PM should park and walk their children into the building.
Parents and visitors who are coming for the Open House from 4:00 – 5:00 PM and/or the Awards Ceremony at 5:00 PM, should park in Parking Lot G.
Friday evening is the best time for Grade 7-12 exhibitors to set up their projects. There will be a short time on Saturday morning, March 28, for project set up if Friday is an impossibility for exhibitors and their parents.
