Toronto Science Fair Schedule

8:30 - 9:30
Grade 7-12 students register and set- up their display boards in the Event Centre in Highland Hall. Entrance is down a ramp on the southwest side of the building.

Judges arrive and sign-in.
Judge Briefing at 9:00

Student Briefing (Grade 7-12)

Grade 7-12 Students are divided into groups A and B
Group A: Judging - in Event Centre in Highland Hall
Group B: Science Workshop - In UTSC or Centennial labs. Escorts lead students to and from their sessions.
12:00 - 1:00
Lunch for Judges and Grades 7-12 Students may buy their lunches in the cafeteria or bring their own.
Grade 5-6 students register and set-up - in Highland Hall. Entrance is down a ramp on the southwest side of the building.
Note: Grade 5 / 6 exhibitors should eat their lunch before they come.

Grade 5-6 student Activities - Sharing session and Scientists in Schools Workshop: All Gr. 5-6 activities take place in Highland Hall.

Grade 5-6 students will view 7-12 projects

Grade 5-6 students pack up and go home.

Grade 7-12 students listen to guest lecture

Awards Ceremony - In a lecture theatre close to Highland Hall.

Team Toronto - Initial Canada Wide Science Fair Meeting
This meeting is for the 10 Gold Medal Winners who will be chosen to represent Toronto at the CWSF in Edmonton, Alberta May 14-19, 2023
Please note: Project set-up will occur on the morning of April 1, 2023, before the fair begins.
